Its National Stress Awareness Day.
Not sure when that happened? But I see each day how this is not just a topic of discussion, it’s a real health issue (both physical and mental).
How do you feel in times of stress?
Perhaps you have physical tension, anxiety, shallow breathing or sweating. Or maybe you get through it all and realize only hours, days or weeks later how it affected you, be it emotionally taxing, a bad cold, or tense muscles. Pay Attention!
When we listen to our body we are more likely to put effort towards managing the sources. We all need to learn how to say No (politely) more often, take more me time, avoid multi-tasking (no you are not as good as you think at it), breath deeper…..but that takes time. I encourage you to pick one to tackle first.
